Instructions

    • 1

Tear a sheet of aluminum oil from the roll. The size of the sheet depends on the size of the rusted area. Fold several pieces over to add a little thickness and resilience to the foil.

    • 2

Pour Coke (although brand does not really matter) on one side of the aluminum foil sheet. It may work best to dip the aluminum foil into the cola and work that way.

    • 3

Rub the aluminum foil, Coke-side down, along the rusted chrome.

    • 4

Reapply Coke to the aluminum foil as necessary. Use a towel and a little water to clean the area after the rust has been removed.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use the shinier side of the aluminum foil against the rust.
