There are many children in need, probably alot closer to your home, than you may think. Their family may be in crisis and they may be without adequate food or clothing.
Helping children or people in need is so rewarding. You not only are helping them, but you will have renewed your own spirit. Your life will be instantly changed, and you will realize not only how blessed you are, but the normal daily groans and moans will be over. You will realize what really matters. You have a roof over your head, food on the table, and healthy kids. You are blessed, and it is time to help children in need.

Things You'll Need:

    Contact your local Salvation Army.
    They have so many wonderful ways to help children in your community, as well as their families.
    You can help provide food, unwanted clothing and they have so many other services.

    There is nothing better than helping children right in your own community!!!

    Find a local soup kitchen.
    See if you can volunteer time serving warm meals to children and their families.
    Look in the yellow pages, and if you cant find information there, contact your city, or closest large city.

    Contact a local church and see if they run a program to buy gifts for children that will otherwise not get any Christmas gifts.

    Many local churches help children in need. It is your chance to put a smile on a child's face.

    Do a search online. There are many sites that help children. The ideas above mentioned are nice because you can help children in your own area, often hands on.
