How to Get Rid of Corns with Natural Remedies
Corns can develop on your feet from constant rubbing of improperly fitted shoes and high heels. These hard pads are your body's way of protecting the skin by forming a thick layer of skin on areas that are abraded. Corns are unsightly and can be painful. Sometimes changing to properly fitted shoes with a large toe box and going barefoot whenever possible can help the corn to disappear. Other times treatment is needed. A variety of folk remedies aim to dissolve corns. Talk to your physician before attempting home remedies; a hard or painful growth on the foot may have other causes.

Scrape the inside white part of a banana peel with a spoon or butter knife. You will need about 2 teaspoons of it. Crush two cloves of garlic. In a small glass bowl mix the banana peel and garlic thoroughly. Apply the mixture to the corn and cover it with a piece of sterile gauze and tape in place. Change the bandage twice per day. Use a pumice stone to gently scrub off the top layer daily.

Shred a piece of white bread into small pieces. Place the shredded bread in 1/4 cup of white vinegar. Soak for 30 to 40 minutes. Place the bread onto a sterile piece of gauze, place on corn and tape in place. Leave it on overnight. In the morning remove the gauze, rinse with plain water. Use a pumice stone to gently remove the corn. If the corn does not easily come off, repeat.
