How to Change a Skin Graft Bandage

Skin grafts are a removal of the top layer of skin for use in other medical procedures. The dressings, or bandages, must be changed and the site cleaned, normally several times a day. The doctor will provide a prescription for a dressing or the dressing itself, usually something like Xeroform. In addition, an ace bandage, netting, or gauze will be needed to cover the dressing.
