-
Step 2
Start the kids party by playing an introduction game, which lets the kids introduce themselves and their parents. Instruct the kids to tell what their parents do, or how old they are, or when their birthday is coming.
-
Step 3
Continue the festivities by letting the kids play a game that lets them learn a new piece of information, like naming favorite animals or naming hobbies. Award door prizes for the most interesting hobby or pet.
-
Step 4
Start the rest of the kids party by explaining what will be happening throughout the course of the festivities. This is the time ground rules should be set for the guests. If children know what the rules are, they will generally abide by them.
-
Step 5
Invite any parents who want to stay to help participate in the party events. Explain the pickup times for any of the parents who are not going to remain during the kids party. Everyone should know exactly when the party is ending and when the kids are supposed to be picked up.
