How to Become a DISH Network Contractor
DISH Network is a satellite service provider that offers television, audio and interactive products and services to individual and corporate consumers across the United States. Founded in 1996, this Meridian, Colo.-based organization boasted 13.58 million subscribers in 2009. Publicly traded on the NASDAQ, its stock symbol is DISH. Contractors, formally called satellite TV installer/technicians, interact directly with consumers, installing and troubleshooting DISH Network products.

Applying for a Contractor Role with DISH Network

Visit the DISH Network career homepage at dishnetwork.jobs.com. On the left-hand side of the screen under the heading "HIGHLIGHTS," click on the words "Search for Jobs."

In the form under the heading "Job Type," highlight the words "Installation - Maint -- Repair." The number in the parentheses next to these words indicates how many open jobs are available. In the form under the heading "Locations," highlight the state in which you would like to work. Again, the number in the parentheses next to these words indicates how many open jobs are available in that location.

Click on the job title of a role located in the city in which you would like to work.

Read the complete job description. This will enable you to truly understand the requirements of the role, as well as discover whether you are qualified to perform it.

Click the red button that states "APPLY NOW."

Click the beige button that states "Apply Now."
