Instructions

1
Soak up any moisture from the urine with a few paper towels.
-
2
In a metal or glass bowl, add 2 cups of warm water, 1/2 a cup vinegar and about 1/2 a spoonful of laundry detergent and mix well.
-
-
3
Pour small amounts of the solution over the urine stain. Scrub with a soft brush (memory foam mattresses are made of very soft, delicate material, so a soft brush will be more gentle) and then quickly apply paper towels on top to absorb the liquid. Repeat this cycle a few times until you feel the urine has been cleaned.
-
4
Dry the wet spot using a hair dryer until it is fairly dry.
-
5
If the urine smell is still evident, apply some medicated powder or baking soda to the area and leave on for a few hours. If the smell is very strong, you can leave the powder overnight. If you need to sleep on the bed, lay a towel over the powder and then put the bed sheet on top. Otherwise, just leave the powder on the mattress without covering it.

After a few hours, vacuum off the powder from the mattress. The odor should be gone. If some smell remains, repeat the powder process once more.
