The taste of good Mexican food is satisfying and delicious. It can be a meal or a snack. With quick and easy crunchy corn tortillas that are not fried, a meal or snack is now healthy. Enjoy this quick and easy meal or snack anytime.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Stoneware bowl or cup
  • Corn tortillas
  • re-fried beans
  • grated cheese
  • shredded lettuce
  • chopped tomato
  • salsa
  • other toppings as desired
  1. Step 1

    Take the corn tortilla and place it over the upside down stoneware or ironstone cup or bowl in the microwave.

  2. Step 2
    Tortilla is microwaved.
    Tortilla is microwaved.

    Microwave on high for 2 minutes. No grease or oil is used on the bowl or cup. The tortilla will become crunchy without the oil.

  3. Step 3

    Remove the crunchy tortilla shell from the bowl or cup right away. WARNING: The cup or bowl will be VERY HOT. Do not touch. Use a fork and oven mitts if necessary.

  4. Step 4

    Place shell on plate. Spread re-fried beans and sprinkle on grated cheese toppings. Place back in micro wave for 15-20 seconds to melt cheese.

  5. Step 5

    Add rest of your toppings. Tomatoes, lettuces, and salsa. Add any other favorites.

  6. Step 6

    Make as many as needed for a meal or a snack.

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember that the bowl or cup will be very, very hot in the microwave and it stays hot for a long time.
