This year I enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program. A rigorous study by American standards. Because of my new school I have found myself having to study in order to maintain my straight As. This is one of my preferred study techniques.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Internet Connection
  • E-mail
  • Something to Study
  1. Step 1

Quizlets.com has become very helpful for me, it focuses on studying vocab online. The first step is to create an account. To do this you will need an e-mail account (I suggest using Gmail)

  2. Step 2

After creating an account you will need to add your own flash cards. Do this by clicking “Make Flashcards” at the top. Enter the title, the subjects, and privacy settings.

  3. Step 3

No either import or type in your flashcards. I would prefer importing because then you will have a backup of all your terms on your hard drive. To import them simply type up the words and definitions in a word document.

  4. Step 4

Copy and Paste the words and definitions into the text box. Then press “Create Set”.

  5. Step 5

Now you can study your cards in Quizlets. They offer several study options including randomly generated tests and games. Use these to become familiar with your terms.

  6. Step 6

Quizlets also allows for you to go and view other people's cards and terms. This is especially useful if you want to study a area of knowledge but not necessarily specific key terms. There are thousands of Flashcards available in almost every subject

  7. Step 7

Finally Quizlets lets you join groups of users, allowing for shared flashcards to a greater extent.
