We all have stuff lying around the house that we would like to sell. Toys, nick-naks, clothing, even tools collecting dust in corners, closets and our sheds. Why not post these items for sale or make money? Learn how to post your ads online and in print for Free.

    First, Make a list of the items you wish to sell. Make sure your items are clean and in good condition. Some of the most common items to sell in the classifieds range from baby items, collectibles, electronics, and tools. You may also consider selling your home or vehicle through the classifieds as well.

  2. Step 2

    Next, Write down an accurate description. Make it informative and to the point. For Example: Baby Boys Clothing, Size 18-24 months, Name Brands, Some Brand New with Tags, 20 outfits, $20.00 Take All.

  3. Step 3

    Next, Concider how you will shorten your description to make it shorter and more to the point. For Example: Baby Boys Clothing, Sz 18-24m, Name Brands, Some BNWT, 20pcs, $20 T/A.

  4. Step 4

    Finally, Know where you can post this item for sale. Check out the sites listed below. These are the sites I use, and I think you may enjoy them too. Some of these sites will also print your ad in a circular for free as well. Check out newspapers in your local town to see what is available. Also check with local churches and organizions to see if they have a non-profit site or circular.

Tips & Warnings
  • Consider shipping your item to other cities to increase your audience.
  • Add a border, or photo when available.
  • Make sure your item is described accuratly.
