Help your friends and family celebrate their April birthdays with colorful springtime gifts.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Birthday Cards
  • Daisies
  • Picnic Lunches
  • Diamond Jewelry
  • Tickets To Garden Tours
  1. Step 1

Consider giving jewelry with a diamond, the traditional April birthstone. Or opt for the more mystical opal birthstone.

  2. Step 2

Send a bouquet of April's lovely flowers, the sweet pea and daisy.

  3. Step 3

Consider the receiver's astrological sign; those born between March 21 and April 19 are Aries, who are said to have an adventurous nature. A Taurus, born between April 20 and May 21, is said to be watchful and gentle. You may wish to buy gifts according to the birthday boy's or girl's astrological sign.

  4. Step 4

Avoid buying on-sale items such as candy or chocolates after Easter and turning them into birthday gifts.

  5. Step 5

Celebrate the beginning of spring in addition to the birthday by taking the celebrant out for a picnic or an afternoon at botanical gardens.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try to choose a personal gift that shows time and thought, rather than a high price.

on 2/19/2009 I always try to pick a unique and special gift for my friends and loved ones. I found this great site — http://my-song.ca/s/bdo1! You go on and make a personalized song — I did it for my best friend’s birthday. I had a great time putting the song together. It’s completely personalized, and so cute! It’s something I know she won’t forget for a long time.
