How to Put Glitter & Text on Your Pictures
Glitter and text are a simple but creative way to add decoration to your pictures. They are something to use if you just want to have fun with your pictures and share them with the people you know. There are several sites on the Internet to create these kind of pictures, but one in particular that focuses on just this is called GlitterFly.

Go to www.glitterfly.com in your Internet browser. Locate and click the button that says "Start Now - Click Here." You have the option of either copying and pasting a location of an image from somewhere on the Internet or uploading a picture from your computer. For this example, we'll upload a picture. Click the "Browse" button, find a picture, click "Open" and then click "Make a Glitter."

Choose a glitter picture you want to use. The one that you choose will show up on your entire picture. For this example, we'll use the first glitter on the first row that resembles stars and dots. Click it and you will be able to preview the animation of it on your picture below.

Type the text you want to put on your picture in the box below that says "Type your text here:." Choose where you want to place the text by clicking your cursor in front of the word or phrase, and press the space bar or enter keys on your keyboard until you are satisfied with the placement of the text.

Change the look of the font if you wish to do so by clicking the arrows under the font name, size and color. Perhaps you want to make the text very large and the same color of someone's shirt who's in the picture. You can also give the text outline, space the letters a certain width from each other, and rotate the text 360 degrees.

Click the green "Save & Download" button when you are satisfied with your picture. During this time, the screen will tell you that your picture is processing. On the next screen, you can download it back to your computer. Copy and paste the code for use on another site. You also have the option of sending the picture directly to your profile on various sites. If you choose to send it to a site, you will receive a pop-up window to log in to the site, and it will automatically post it for you.

Tips & Warnings
When thinking of a picture to use and what text to place on it, it's probably a good idea to keep it clean, especially if you are going to share it with your family.
You may want to choose to save your picture to your computer, as well as copying and pasting the link for posting on another site. Glitterfly.com does not save your images, so if you click off the site and have not saved the picture or the code, you will have to remake your glitter and text picture.
