Tips & Warnings
Leave the washer door open after each washing cycle to allow the water to dry out. Occasionally wipe the rubber draining seal near the door out with a dry towel or rag. Water builds up in this drain area due to the front-loading style of the washer. Sprinkle baking soda in the drain at the end of the day after you have finished using the washer. Reduce the amount of detergent you use, as buildup can create a foul odor as well. Do not allow clothes to sit for long periods of time after a cycle has completed.
Only use high-efficiency detergents and products specially formulated for front loading washers. Contact the manufacturer before attempting any other form of cleaning to ensure you do not violate the warranty.
