How to Unlock the Cheats Menu in Spiderman 3
All of the games made to accompany the release of the movie Spider-Man 3 have unlockable content in some form or fashion. Most often the games allow you to unlock Spiderman's black suit or play as a different character, such as Venom or New Goblin. The DS version of Spider-Man 3 allows you to purchase five cheats for use during gameplay.

Complete the story mode by defeating Venom for the second time. Once he has been defeated, the cheats will be unlocked for purchase in the store.

Purchase your desired cheat or cheats for 5,000 hero points each in the store. The available cheats allow you to always wear the black suit, become invincible, turn all of your enemies into robots, unlock an alternate touchscreen background and activate night-time mode.

Activate the desired cheat or cheats in the "Extras" menu, which can be accessed from the "Start" menu. Any cheats you activate will remain in effect until you turn your DS off.

Tips & Warnings
If you are trying to attain 100-percent completion, you will find the dark suit to be particularly helpful. Not only will it make you stronger and more agile, it will also make detecting meteor shards much easier. Collecting the meteor shards and spider tokens, in addition to completing the Daily Bugle Photo missions and Ultimate Challenges, will get you 100-percent completion and unlock DeWolfe's biography.
