Instructions

1. Hang window plugs over windows. Window plugs are removable foam inserts that cover the window frame to block noise.

2. Install sound-deadening drapes over windows. These curtains are frequently used in hotels.

3. Cover the floor with carpet, which will absorb sound. Carpet can also be mounted on the wall.

4. Use weather stripping in window and doorway gaps, where sound is easily leaked.

5. Hang soundproofing material on interior walls to absorb sound.
