How to deal with unemployment and unpaid debt.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Dealing with unemployment and overdue bills can be stressful and it can place a real damper on your entire life. However, there are a few thongs that you can do in an attempt to help you better cope.

  2. Step 2

First, do not isolate yourself. When you are going through tough times, you should cling to your family and friends. Family and friends can serve as a great comfort. However, if you isolate you will only become more depressed and withdrawn.

  3. Step 3

Next, keeping looking for another job. Even if the market looks bleak, you never know when you will receive that phone call. The Internet and newspaper are excellent sources to use when seeking employment. Keep in mind; this is only temporary and tries to stay positive.

  4. Step 4

Finally, if you have overdue bills, by no means ignore them. Call the companies and try to work out a payment arrangement. Companies should be more than willing to work out an acceptable payment plan. Doing nothing will only place more pressure on yourself.
