Enjoy Turtle Cheesecake tonight!

Turtle Cheesecake is sinfully delicious, and looks far more complicated to make than it actually is. Topped with rich caramel, chocolate morsels and tasty pecans, Turtle Cheesecake is a delightful alternative to plain cheesecake. But did you know it could be so simple? Using a no-bake cheesecake mix and adding only three extra ingredients, you will have this culinary delight ready in no time. This rich dessert is so easy anybody can make it! Whether using this recipe to impress your friends and family, or simply to indulge your sweet tooth, you will be impressed with the results. Here's how to make easy Turtle Cheesecake.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • No-bake cheesecake mix, including crust
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/3 cup miniature chocolate chips
  • Caramel syrup
  1. Step 1

Prepare cheesecake mix crust as directed on the package. If your mix does not include a crust, choose either a chocolate or regular graham cracker pie crust. Most cheesecake mixes come ready for a nine inch pie crust.

  2. Step 2

Drizzle caramel sauce over pie crust in any pattern you like, but not entirely covering the crust. Straight lines of caramel back and forth, plus vertical lines give good results for your Turtle Cheesecake. Using a good caramel sauce will give the best results. Caramel used for sundaes are perfect for this recipe.

  3. Step 3

Mix chopped pecans and chocolate chips in a bowl. Pecans can be purchased already chopped to save time and make this recipe even easier. Miniature chocolate chips are best for this recipe.

  4. Step 4

Sprinkle about a third of the chopped pecans and chocolate chips on top of the caramel in the pie crust in an even layer. Aim for only a slight sprinkling, saving the rest for the top of the Turtle Cheesecake.

  5. Step 5

Mix the cheesecake mix as directed on the box, and pour into the pie crust. Ensure it is in an even layer by smoothing with the back of a large spoon.

  6. Step 6

Sprinkle the remaining pecan pieces and chocolate chips on top of cheesecake evenly. This layer should be much thicker than the layer on the bottom.

  7. Step 7

Top with another drizzle of caramel sauce on the top. Using vertical and horizontal stripes is also recommended for this step.

  8. Step 8

Chill until Turtle Cheesecake is set, most mixes call for about an hour. Enjoy!
