Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start with listening to the show. Talk radio show host will not take callers that are clueless to their show. Each radio show tosses out a number of topics for each show and then take callers on these topics.

  2. Step 2

Be ready to call. Start calling when the radio host gives out the topics. Pick one and run with it. Also, make sure the number is handy and be ready to dial. Secondly, dial as soon as the host takes a caller, that opens a line.

  3. Step 3

Hit the redial over and over again. As soon as the busy signal comes across hang up and hit redial. Do this over and over and eventually someone will pick up.

  4. Step 4

Be ready when the call screener asks what the topic is. Be honest and be clear about the position or question for the host. Getting on the show requires getting past the call screener.

  5. Step 5

Be careful taking a contrary point of view. Most host welcome debate, but avoid name calling or bizarre banter and irrational rants. Going down this road will get you cut off the show.

  6. Step 6

Keep listening to the show and become a regular caller. Most shows have regular callers and host enjoy talking to them.
