How to Create Your Own Chatroom Free
Chat rooms are a great way to meet new people and get in on the Web conversation. Most chat rooms are created through code and embedded in Web pages. Fortunately, chat rooms can be created online without any coding knowledge, through websites such as Meebo. Let your friends know about your chat room and start talking.

Visit the Meebo website (see references). The page might take a moment to load, depending on the speed of your Internet connection.

Click on the "Rooms" tab at the top of the page. In the tab, click "Create."

Name your room by entering the name in the specified box. Choose a size for the room. You can choose among small, medium, large or custom. If you choose custom, you get to pick your chat room's dimensions.

Personalize your room by choosing a room icon. You can choose one of the preset icons or an image from the Web. If you want to use an image from the Web, you will need to insert the image URL in the specified box.

Choose a color theme for your room. You can choose among red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, gray and black.

Click on the down arrow next to "More Options" to expand the menu. These options are available for users who want to customize the color scheme to their liking. You can individually change the background color, text colors, line colors, and the fill and hover colors of the buttons. After setting these options, click "Next" in the top-right corner of the Meebo interface.

Create a Meebo ID by entering all of the required information in the boxes. This includes your desired ID, password, full name, email address, gender and age. Enter the Captcha words in the box below, and click "Sign Up."

Embed the chat room in your website, profile or page by copying and pasting the Meebo chat room code.
