Cupcakes tend to be a favorite dessert of many children and adults. Traditionally, cupcakes are prepared using paper liners. Instead of using paper liners, bakers can now use silicone cupcake liners. Silicone cupcake liners are shaped just like paper liners and are easy to use and clean. Using silicone cupcake liners can help reduce waste in the environment and will save you the cost of purchasing paper liners on a regular basis.
Things You'll Need
- Cupcake batter
- Silicone cupcake liners
- Metal cookie sheet
- Oven mitts
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. If you are using a specific type of batter that needs to be cooked at a different temperature, adjust accordingly.
Prepare your cupcake batter as you normally would.
Place your silicone cupcake liners on your cookie sheet. Depending on the size of your cookie sheet, you should be able to fit between six to 24 cupcakes at a time.
Fill your silicone cupcake liners with your batter. Fill the liners 2/3 of the way full. Using a ladle to fill the liners can make the job easier than using a regular spoon or spatula.
Place your cupcakes into the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
Put on your oven mitts and remove the cookie sheet when your cupcakes are finished cooking. Allow the cupcakes to cool, peel away the silicone liner and enjoy.
Tips & Warnings
