Instructions

    • 1

Power off your hot tub. This will prevent items from being sucked into the filter while you change the filter. It is also a good idea to drain the hot tub before removing the filter.

    • 2

Open up the filter compartment. This is typically going to be under a lid or canister on the hot tub. Your owner's manual shows exactly where the filter can be found.

    • 3

Inspect the area around the filter. Most filters just snap into place, but some are screwed into place. If there are screws holding the filter in place, remove them.

    • 4

Snap out the hot tub filter. The corners are probably held in place by small groves inside the filter compartment. Pulling one of the corners of the filter free will allow the rest of the filter to snap out.

    • 5

Place the new filter inside. Filters can be purchased at most places that sell hot tubs, or you can usually order them online from the hot tub's manufacturer. Reattach any screws you may have removed and close the filter compartment. You can now refill the hot tub and power it back on.
