How to Remove Ink Stains From Clothes

Stretch the garment out on an old towel or rag. If you are working with a shirt, put the towel on the inside of the shirt. The purpose of the towel is to absorb the washed out ink.

Apply a generous amount of rubbing alcohol to the ink stain and let it soak in for 5 minutes. During this time you should start to notice the ink bleeding out of the fabric.

Gently rub ONLY the ink stained area with the bristles of a toothbrush. Avoid spreading the stain to other areas of the fabric.

Wash the ink stained area out with cold water by hand. If the ink stain is still visible, repeat steps 2 and 3 with fingernail polish remover instead of rubbing alcohol.
