Step 1
Hospitality suiteTo have a hospitality career you need to first decide what hospitality niche you're interested in. There are many to choose from and most likely you can start immediately. Don't worry if you feel inexperienced everybody has to start somewhere and they typically provide training.
A great place to apply is in hotels or conference centers they always need help, especially the ones located in the heart of the city. Don't be picky and take a position that will get you in the door. After you have proven that you are a good worker then seek a better position. -
Step 2
CasinoCheck out casinos this is another good place to learn the ropes quickly and make money. As you may know nights and weekends is when you will make the most money, so prepare to give up some of your own social life. Work hard, be friendly and smile your way to success.
Consider catering if you like a more laid back hospitality career. When you work catering everything is planned ahead of time and should move like clockwork if you have good managers and employees. Instead of a noisy party atmosphere it's typically dining and a few drinks. -
Step 3
Cruise shipFor those who are really adventurous why not go for a cruise ship. Travel and hospitality careers go hand in hand. After all, when people travel they must be accommodated and that's where you come in. If you're foot loose and fancy free then go for the cruise.
Lastly, if you don't like the idea of being on the water then consider a hospitality career at a resort. For those who love travel this is yet another great option. You get to meet people from all over the world and quite possibly famous ones. As you can see a career in hospitality can take you anywhere you want to go.
