How to Stack Hay Bales on FarmVille

The social media game "Farmville" gives players the opportunity to decorate their farms with virtual items like fences, trees and hay bales. Some of the decorations -- such as hay bales -- have no real function in the game. However, you can create an aesthetically-pleasing look with your excess hay bales by virtually stacking them and using the power of optical illusions.

Things You'll Need

• An open area of grass on your farm
• 4 or more hay bales

Instructions

1. Put one hay bale on an empty plot of land.

2. Place another hay bale in a diagonal direction from your first hay bale by positioning the bottom corner of the bale in line with the top corner of the first hay bale.

3. Add the third and fourth hay bale on either side of the first hay bale to fill in the gaps and create a "V" shape. The hay bales will appear stacked. You can continue adding hay bales until you achieve the look you want on your farm.

Tips & Warnings

• Use different colors on your stacked hay bales to help your eyes see the different layers easily.

• Use the same steps with fences, hedges and other decorations to create 3-D looks.
