Use teeth whitening kitsPut a pea sized drop of whitening gel into the mouth tray found in the teeth whitening kit. Make sure you use the same amount of gel in each compartment. If your teeth whitening kit contains strips instead of trays, you can skip this step.

Use teeth whitening kitsMove the whitening tray or whitening strips into your mouth and around your teeth. Make sure that the gel doesn't touch your gums, for this can cause irritation. Leave the whitening tray or whitening strips in your mouth for the recommended time on the teeth whitening kit.

Use teeth whitening kitsOnce the time is up, take the whitening trays out of your mouth, wash them in cool water, and store them somewhere dry. If you're using whitening strips, just throw the used ones in the trashcan. Brush your teeth one last time to get rid of the whitening gel still on your teeth.
