How to Download Songs from your Ipod onto Your Computer
The Apple iPod doesn't function as mass-storage MP3 players do, allowing you to easily download songs from the device onto your computer and back again. Instead, the iPod relies on syncing with iTunes, which adds or removes songs from the device based on changes made to your music library while the device was disconnected. However, third-party software will extract the music from your iPod to your computer.
