If you have ever tried to work from home or just generate some passive income on the side, what you probably found were mostly scams and gimmicks. Not to mention ending up getting lots of spam mail afterward. Here are some surefire ways to make money from home and enjoy doing it.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • internet access
  • computer
  • small yard signs
  • crafting supplies (optional)
  • a little business savvy
  1. Step 1

Two things I love to do are shop and generate passive income. Now there is a way to do both of these and never leave the comfort of my home. Blastoff is a new site that offers you a homepage with CNN, FOX and ESPN news, HULU for us online tv/movie buffs, and full access to your Facebook page. Now here's where the money making comes in at: Blastoff connects you to over 400 retailers. These retailers include favorites like itunes, Target, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, Sear's and Macy's. When you shop online through Blastoff, you earn cash back. Plus, when you invite friends to join, you make money when they shop. It doesn't get much easier than that! Blastoff also offers very easy access to view how much money you've made and who you have signed up. It is free to join. Visit the website http://my.blastoffnetwork.com/livingthedream07

  2. Step 2

If you like to write try writing online for textbroker.com. With Textbroker.com you get paid per word for writing what the clients put in orders for. They also order bonuses and incentives. You decide when you want to write. Some research may be required in order to write some articles, but no experience is required. Your pay scale will be based on your skill level and pay will increase as your skill level increases.

  3. Step 3

Also, for those who love writing, you can try e-how.com. E-how requires that you write how-to articles, but you can select the topic. You can upload pictures and video to spice up your articles and attract readers. With e-how you get paid when people read your articles. E-how also has contests and incentives to make extra money as well. You can view how much you earn online.

  4. Step 4

We've also heard the word by now. Blog. There, I said it. It is not a dirty word, or at least it doesn't have to be. Blogging can be fun and better yet, you can make money doing it. You simply journal online and add google adsense to your blog. As people read it and click on the ads, you make money. You do have to drive quite a bit of traffic to make it profitable, but again, you can do it in your pj's. Try some blogging sites, like blogger or wordpress.

  5. Step 5

Last, and certainly not least, you can start an e-business. If you like to craft start with that. Make all of your product, clean out your garage, or buy something wholesale. Then take pictures of each item individually. The go to e-bay.com. You can either open a store or auction each item. You select the pricing for your items and add shipping and handling separately. E-bay has lots of tutorials to guide you through the process.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be creative!
  • Have fun!
  • Do your homework. The items I listed above do not require any commitment, but many of the other work from home schemes do.
  • Also, make sure that there are no start-up fees involved.
