Things You'll Need:
- 8 wooden hearts
- Wreath frame
- Fencing staples
- Hammer
- Pads
- wire
- Hanger
-
Step 1
Put a towel on a surface that will withstand hammering. Arrange the hearts in a circle, face down. Place the wire frame on the circle of hearts, center it, and nail it into place. Fence staples will last, as they are much heavier than standard staples.
-
Step 2
Put pads (I used sticky-backed felt pads) on the back to protect your door or wall.
Add a wire loop to hang it.
Finish the wreath with sealant, paint or wood finish. -
Step 3
If you leave the hearts plain, you can keep the wreath up all year long. For fall holidays, you might intertwine them with a garland of colored leaves. For Valentines day, put a cupid doll in the center. Crafts stores carry garlands and decorations for just about any holiday or occasion.
