Christmas shopping can be a hassle as well as time consuming because of the traffic and the crowds. All this commotion is done to find the perfect gift for everyone you are shopping for. Yet there are places around where you can go to find unique and wonderful presents while supporting local business'.

    Some of the most wonderful and beautiful gifts are sold around Christmas time at local bazaars and Christmas shows in your town and even neighborhoods. These events are less crowded, less stressful and even fun to attend. Not only do you find unique gifts, but you can meet the person who made the item. Local artisans take pride in there craft and enjoy talking to people about their items. Even Santa has a smaller line.

    What you need to do to find the local events in your area is to first read the cities newspaper, or checkout the areas website for these type of events. Watch the local television channels for advertisements of upcoming shows. Undoubtedly the local church or school has one of these events coming up or know of where one is at. These are mainly fundraiser and vital to their success. Looking at local bulletin boards at local business' is another way to locate these events.

  3. Step 3
     

    Once you find a local event many of the artisans can tell you when and where another show is at. Believe it or not they may also help assist you in finding a gift for that hard to buy person in your life.
