  1. Step 1

Human noses can bleed for many different reasons, some bloody noses are signals, that alerts a underlying problem. For this reason, if your nose begins to bleed for no apparent reason, see a doctor . But, if the concept is understood for your bleeding ,I may be able to help.

  2. Step 2

A small bump, dry heat, even weather conditions could effect your blood vessels in your nose. Inside your nose you have thousands of tiny blood vessels. When they crack or break, your nose bleeds. Holding your head back, clots the vessels up , thus preventing any flow of blood. But many times after awhile, these clots dry out and crack or break as well.

  3. Step 3

If a sudden bloody nose occurs, follow this quick fix. With a q- tip, apply a liberal amount of Vaseline to each nostril, making sure to coat the inner side of your nose completely. Also, be sure to repeat this application to each nostril, even if only one is bleeding. Besides the Vaseline clotting your nose, it prevents your blood vessels from cracking or breaking. This procedure helps keep your inner side of your nose moist.
