Hate shaving your legs? No matter how much time you take does it seem like you always miss a spot? Prickly legs can be embarrassing. Here is a step by step guide on how to shave your legs perfectly.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sharp Razor
  • Shaving cream
  • Conditioner
  • Lotion
  • Toner
  1. Step 1

Take a hot shower. The hot water will help to soften any coarse stubble on your legs. Apply some hair conditioner to your legs while you shower. Let the conditioner soak in for about 5 minutes.

  2. Step 2

Wash the conditioner off your legs and apply a thick layer of shaving cream or gel.

  3. Step 3

Using a sharp razor, shave your legs with the grain in long broad strokes. Shaving with the grain will prevent razor burn and those unsightly red razor bumps. When you are finished, simply wash any leftover residue off of your legs.http://forms.ehow.com/betacontribute.aspx?id=&panel=2

  4. Step 4

Touch up any areas that you may have missed earlier. One patch of hair can be the difference between a good shave and a bad shave.

  5. Step 5

Apply an alcohol toner to your legs. This will sterilize any cuts or nicks on your skin and prevent infections.

  6. Step 6

Moisturize your legs with a body lotion or moisturizer. This is an extremely important part as the shaving cream, toner, and hard water can dry your skin out leaving you with rough flaky skin.
