How to Clean a Night Guard
Night guards help protect your teeth and jaw. They are typically worn to prevent teeth grinding and clenching. They are custom made out of plastic to fit the mold of your mouth. For this reason, night guards can be expensive. Many dentists recommend cleaning your night guard before and after each use. It's also recommened that you give it a more thorough cleaning once a week by soaking it in a denture-cleaning solution. This will help promote good oral hygiene and health. Regular cleanings will also help preserve the life of your night guard.
