Tempur-Pedic pillows are specially designed bed pillows that provide extra support to the head and neck when sleeping. The pillows are made with TEMPUR material, which was first created for NASA. Mattresses were the first focus of Tempur-Pedic, but they soon started offering pillows and other accessories. As with any bed linens, the covers on Tempur-Pedic pillows need to be washed on occasion. By washing the covers, you will keep your pillows smelling clean and fresh.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Remove the cover of the Tempur-Pedic pillow and place it in a washing machine.

  2. Step 2

Set and run the washing machine to use cold water and liquid detergent.

  3. Step 3

Dry the cover by hanging it on a clothesline or on a cool dryer setting. Using a hot dryer setting could shrink the cover.

Tips & Warnings
  • Not all Tempur-Pedic pillows have a removable cover. Check the tag on the pillow to see if it is removable.
  • According to the Tempur-Pedic website, air drying is better than drying the cover in a machine.
  • Do not wash the Tempur-Pedic material as it will be damaged.
  • Do not use bleach on the cover as it will damage the fabric of the cover.
