Depending on the breed of animal you have, it may be best to brush your pet every day to keep the amount of hair in the house and air down to a minimum.

Vacuum your floors and furniture. No matter what kind of floor you have in your home, vacuuming is going to help pick up the hair and prevent it from floating around in the air. If your pet sits on the furniture you should vacuum it also.

Power on an air purifier. Air purifiers are made to remove pollen, pet hair and other particles out of the air. A purifier can safely run at all times of the day to keep the air pet hair-free.
