How to Draw a Cute Sock Monkey
Drawing a sock monkey is done easily if you concentrate on one body part at a time. Sock monkeys are adorable and funny, and drawing them creates the same essence of joy that the original stuffed animals do. To stick to the traditional sock monkey, make sure to use gray colored pencils for the body and red for the mouth.

1
Begin by drawing the body without arms or legs. The head should be oval shaped and connect directly with the longer, larger oval body. There is no neck. Draw a large circle on the lower half of the face and use a colored pencil to create smiling lips within the circle. Add two dashes right above the lips to serve as nasal cavities.

Once the head and body are formed, use colored pencils to fill in any extra details you'd like, such as black, button-like circles for eyes and a vest or shirt for the monkey. Color the body as you'd like.

3
Draw the arms next; they are long and slender, with rounded fingerless hands that will be as long as the body. The only difference between the arm and hand is that the hand will stay white when you color the rest of the arm to match the body.

4
Draw the legs underneath the body. The legs are very similar in shape to the arms, but the bottoms are flared out instead of rounded. Again, keep the ends white when you color the legs to match the body.

5
Draw a long, pointy tail, either emerging from in between the legs or to the side. Keep the tip of the tail white and color the rest to match the body.
