How to Remove Crazy Glue From Plastic
When working with Krazy Glue, you need to be careful not to get it on surfaces you don't wish to glue. Accidents do happen from time to time, but fret not. If you happen to spill Krazy Glue on plastic, getting it off is simple. You only need a few household objects and a little patience.
Things You'll Need

Instructions

1
Test an unseen area of the plastic surface with a few drops of acetone nail polish remover to make sure it won't discolor or damage the plastic.
-
2
Saturate a cotton ball with acetone nail polish remover and rub it over the surface of the spilled glue. The chemicals in acetone help break the glue down so it dissolves.
-
-
3
Use the rounded tip of a butter knife to gently scrape away the softened glue.
-
4
Rub over the glue area as it is breaking up with another acetone nail polish saturated cotton ball to help soften any tough areas.
-
5
Scrape remaining glue away with the butter knife, or you can even use your finger nail if you're worried about scratching the plastic surface.
-
6
Wash the surface clean with a paper towel soaked in warm, soapy water. Thoroughly dry the surface and inspect it to be sure all of the glue has been removed. If not, repeat the above steps until all of the glue has been broken off and removed.
