When you need to securely bond two items together you may want to use crazy glue, an incredibly powerful adhesive. Just a small amount of crazy glue is needed when attaching the items. However, the container is tightly packed; it is easy to spill the crazy glue, and if you are above a tile counter or floor, the glue can drip and stick to the tile. Because the glue is clear, you may not notice the dripped glue until it has already dried.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Pour nail polish remover with acetone over the crazy glue spot. Make sure the nail polish remover completely covers the glue spot.

  2. Step 2

Leave the nail polish on the glue spot for at least 15 to 30 minutes to allow the acetone time to remove the glue's bond on the tile.

  3. Step 3

Clean the nail polish remover from the tile with a damp rag. You may want to reapply the nail polish remover if all of the glue does not come off.

  4. Step 4

Pour lighter fluid over the crazy glue and allow the lighter fluid to sit for a few minutes.

  5. Step 5

Clean up the lighter fluid and glue with a damp cloth and mild dish soap, and rinse the area. Dry the tile with a clean rag. The remainder of the crazy glue should now be gone.
