Pimples on the arms can appear for a number of reasons including dry skin, clogged pores, and hereditary skin disorders. They can often be unsightly and embarrassing for those who have them and many people simply cover them up with long sleeves. What these people don't know is that pimples on the arms are not permanent and can be easily managed.
Things You'll Need
- Exfoliating body scrub
- Moisturizing cream
Drink lots of water. By drinking at least eight glasses of water per day, you will be hydrating your skin from within. This will help to prevent dry skin that could be the cause of the pimples.
Scrub the arms with an exfoliating body wash and loofah; you will wash away dead skin cells that could be clogging the pores. Pay special attention to the arms and the areas that are affected by the pimples.
Apply a moisturizing lotion to the affected area. The moisturizer will help to eliminate dry skin and reduce redness from irritation.
Expose the arms to direct sunlight. Daily exposure to sunlight is essential in maintaining healthy skin. Be careful not to overexpose the skin to sunlight as this could cause burning, and always wear sunscreen to protect from UV rays.
