How to Soak in Oxy Clean

Things You'll Need
- Two scoops of OxiClean powder
- 1 gallon of hot water
- Bucket
- Broom
- Cold water

Combine two scoops of OxiClean powder with 1 gallon of hot water in a bucket. The soaking solution recipe can be doubled or tripled to accommodate larger items. For items that are heavily soiled, you can use up to four scoops of OxiClean powder per gallon of water.

Stir the OxiClean mixture thoroughly using a broom handle. Make sure that the OxiClean crystals have completely dissolved in the water.

Put the soiled items in the OxiClean mixture and allow to soak for up to an hour. Most items need to soak for about 30 minutes to remove stainsl delicate and lightly soiled items may be clean after only 10 minutes. Check items frequently to see if the stains have been removed.

Rinse the items thoroughly using clean, cold water and then allow to dry completely.
