How to Mount Cloud Storage to Your Desktop
There are many backup storage providers on the Internet. Many of them provide free storage such as Google and Microsoft. You also have the option of purchasing storage on the cloud (Internet) for a monthly or yearly price. Mounting your free or purchased storage to your computer is fairly easy and allows you to quickly drag-and-drop files to the cloud.

Open your Internet browser and enter GLADINET.com.

Download and Install Cloud Desktop. Depending on the version of Windows you have installed, choose 32-bit or 64-bit.

Click "Start," "All Programs," "Gladinet" and "Gladinet Cloud Desktop." The Gladinet Quick Launchpad appears.

Click the link "Mount Cloud Storage."

Select a storage provider from the drop down menu. Example include Windows SkyDrive, Google docs and Box.net. The virtual directory name is automatically populated. Click "Next."

Enter the authentication (login and password) for the storage provider you have chosen. For example, if you choose Google Docs or Windows SkyDrive, you are required to enter login credentials to access the free space. Click "Next."

Click "Finish." The cloud storage is automatically created and mounted to your computer.

Open Windows Explorer and you will see "My Gladinet Drive." Double-click "My Gladinet Drive" and your newly mounted cloud storage appears. You can begin dragging files into this folder to place into the cloud.
