How to Choose a Church Steeple
The steeple of any church says a lot about the church itself. A steeple can be seen from a distance away and create an attraction for onlookers. Choosing a church steeple may seem like a daunting task, but a few steps of preparation can provide you with confidence and assurance that the steeple you buy is the right one for your church.

1
Gather various photographs of steeples. Find steeples of all shapes, styles and decor. Include some steeples that you would typically not like or want, just to create a choice for those who don't think the way you do.
-
2
Have a meeting to discuss with the leadership of the church the type of image and message they want to send with the steeple. Show them the various images you gathered and have the members vote. Tally up the votes and choose the top three for further discussion. Take the top three and get input from faithful members of the congregation.

3
Choose a steeple that appropriately represents the image and tradition of your church. Order a modern and abstract steeple if your church is progressive and relevant; order a standard steeple if your church is more traditional.
-
4
The steeple is typically the same height as the church building itself. Ensure the steeple is no larger than 10 percent of the width of the building.
