How to Water Plants With Soda Water
A study at the University of Colorado has shown that plants that are watered with sparkling water actually grow faster and healthier than plants that are watered with regular tap water. Carbonated water actually has nutrients in it that are essential to the plants. It's comparable to people taking vitamins and becoming healthier, building up their immune system. 1
Allow your soda water to warm up to room temperature, to make sure the cold water doesn't shock the plants.
-
2
Measure the carbonated water according to the plant's dimensions and adaptability to its settings. Some plants do not need as much water as others, so do not use too much or you may drown the plant.

Water plants with carbonated water after sunset to make sure the water does not evaporate, and use a shower-like spout to make sure the water is evenly spread all over and around the plant. For indoor plants, the same principles apply.
