The movie "Finding Nemo" features several mildly scary scenes and villains perfect for putting on pumpkins for Halloween. You can also carve your pumpkins with kid-friendly characters such as Dory and Nemo from the movie. There are a number of websites that offer free or inexpensive stencil downloads for use carving pumpkins. All you'll need is a printer and pumpkin carving tools like those available at most groceries around Halloween.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet access
  • Printer
  • Pumpkin(s)
  • Tape
  • Pumpkin carving tools
  1. Step 1

Visit the DAPs Magic Disney Pumpkin Carving Pattern (http://www.dapsmagic.com/?page=freedisneypumpkincarvingpatterns), Zombie Pumpkins (http://www.zombiepumpkins.com/patterns-kids.php) or The Pumpkin Wizard (http://www.carvingpumpkins.com/) and click on the "Finding Nemo" designs.

  2. Step 2

Select a design you like. If you have several pumpkins to carve, you can create a whole scene with Dory, Nemo and Bruce. A Nemo pumpkin could be surrounded by pumpkins carved with smaller fish and sea life to create an underwater scene. Keep your audience in mind, too: If your neighborhood has younger children, you might want to feature happy images of Nemo and his dad or Nemo and Dory.

  3. Step 3

Download the designs you like to your computer and print them out on your printer. If your pumpkin is especially large or small, you can enlarge or reduce the stencil image to fit the pumpkin. Tape the stencil to the pumpkin and punch out the design with the pumpkin tools, then carve through the punched-out lines to cut away pumpkin, creating the final design.
