Just a quick overview of how to sell stuff on craigslist. Craigslist.com is basically an online garage sale, you post what you want to sell and then you wait for responses. Just today I posted a job offering for an accountant in Ontario, CA and withing 4 hours I had 12 Resumes sitting in my inbox.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    People want to see pictures!

This is the secret for how to sell stuff on craigslist

Alright before you get on Craigslist.com take a few photos of the item you are trying to sell. If the item is being sold for under $50 you really only need 1 picture but if you are selling it for much more then that I recommend taking several pictures. By including a picture you will get far more responses that are genuinely interested in your product.

  2. Step 2

Now go ahead and get on Craigslist.com and use the links on the right side of the screen to navigate to the location you wish to post your ad. Next click the "post to classifieds" link in the top right corner. Basically its super easy to figure out how to sell your stuff on Craigslist, all you need to do is follow their instructions.

  3. Step 3

Do not include any personal information such as phone number or address in your post. Use the annonymouse email forwarder used by Craigslist to send responses to your email.

People get screwed all the time on Craigslist, so be careful as to what situations you put yourself into when selling an item.

Best of luck selling your stuff on Craigslist!
