Need a last-minute Halloween costume, but you're short on cash? This is an easy one to do that will deliver great results and may even win you a prize in a contest.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • old clothes
  • Extension cord(s)
  • Hair spray
  • Make-up or spirit gum
  1. Step 1

Decide what you want to wear--just keep in mind that it probably won't be usable again. Rip the clothes, fray them with an emery board, burn the edges, get them dirty, etc. Alternatively, you can always just wear all black--that always works, too.

  2. Step 2

With a comb, rat and tease your hair so that it is standing on end. Spray with hair spray so that it will last. If desired, spray with white or gray hair paint, or sprinkle with baby powder.

  3. Step 3

For face makeup, you can take a red lipstick and make red burn marks around the eyes. Make your lips black. Add some burn marks and/or sores if you have some spirit gum.

  4. Step 4

Take the extension cord, and wrap it all around your body, making your legs and arms go through loops of the cord. You can even tie the end like a noose around your neck.

Tips & Warnings
  • For extra fun, you could add strips of gauze around your ankles, neck, or wrists.
