How to Download Songs From Youtube
Although YouTube, one of the leading video-sharing websites, allows you to watch a variety of music videos by popular and local artists, you can also download songs using third-party music downloading sites. Music downloading sites download and convert videos into audio formats such as MP3. Once downloaded, the songs are saved to your computer where you can play them using digital media software. Visit the YouTube site (see Resources) and find the song you want to download.

Select the song's URL in the address bar when the song begins to play. Right-click the selection and click "Copy."

Navigate to a YouTube music downloading website such as vidtomp3.com, video2mp3.net or listentoyoutube.com (see Resources).

Right-click the URL box in any of YouTube music downloading websites and click "Paste" to enter the code you copied from YouTube. Select an audio quality option if the website supports different options.

Click the "Go," "Convert" or "Download" button, depending on the site you're using. Wait for the site to download the song from YouTube. When prompted, click the "Download" or "Download link" button to save the song to your computer. Once downloaded, the song will launch in your default media player.
