Step 1
First, a practical step: drink lots of natural, distilled water!!! Drink at least 8-10 glasses per day. The more the better. Pure water literally cleans out your body and helps you lose weight extremely fast. Reverse-osmosis and carbon filtration water are good, too, but not as good. Spring water is not recommended. Why distilled? Good water helps curb your appetite and literally sucks the 'bad stuff' out of your body (like fats, toxins, peptides and much more). Did you know that the water in fruits and vegetables is distilled water? The minerals are taken from the soil, the plant distills them, and then you consume them. There is a myth that distilled water leaches minerals from the body.

Step 2
The truth is that good water takes out inorganic minerals that the body cannot use- it literally removes the substances that are capable of causing disease and which cause harm to the body. Excess fats are of course a burden to the body. Foreign substances like toxins (and more) are also harmful to the body in many ways, including contributing to excess weight and imbalance in the body systems. You may need to detoxify your body through a healthy diet and through pure water. Another note: drink a glass of water 10 minutes before every meal; you will eat less.

Step 3
Try to eat a natural diet. This is important and not as difficult as you might think! The best diet is an all-natural diet, filled with grains, fruits, vegetables, starches and natural goodies; also rice, legumes (beans), potatoes, raw nuts, natural desserts and more. The absolute best is vegetarian. Eat 4-5 small meals a day. Do not overeat! With healthy snacks, you will be able to eat without any guilt whatsoever!!! Stop smoking and drinking alcohol (or least drink in moderation), as these contribute to unhealthy lifestyles and weight gain. Learn all about proper food combining, a wonderful principle that will help you lose weight, feel good and be healthy. (For example, eat fruit on an empty stomach.)

Step 4
Please keep this secret in mind: as you change the foods you eat, your body chemistry and taste buds will adapt and change. You will begin to crave those healthy foods- and not the unhealthy foods you used to eat! The human body has amazing ability to adapt to what we do! It may be 'difficult' to change those habits at first, but once you change your diet and consumption habits, it will very quickly become EASY and become second nature.

Step 5
Eat natural, healthy snacks and desserts!!! Enjoy them! Get healthy, whole wheat bread (often fat-free & sugar-free, from a local bakery or health food store), natural jelly (many major brands offer 100% natural jelly with no sugar or additives) and enjoy a great-tasting, HEALTHY dessert! Enjoy crackers, pretzels and more! (example: Nabisco Fat-Free Saltines). Put these snacks in ziploc bags and enjoy during the day. Have oatmeal with cinnamon and natural jelly. Enjoy luscious fruit!

Step 6
Please know that proper food combining is very important. Beware of mixing heavy meats and dairy products with starches- indigestion and stomach problems likely will occur (Check out the best-seller Fit for Life by Harvey Diamond.) Always eat fruit on an empty stomach- not for dessert after a big meal, which will cause indigestion unless it is heavy fruit like dates, etc.

Eliminate unhealthy foods. And remember! Your taste and your body chemistry will change in less than a month, so you will not crave these unhealthy foods. Eliminate extreme fatty foods and junk food, including candy bars, soft drinks, ice cream, butter, chips, meats like beef and chicken, and dairy products like milk and cheese. Also try to eliminate foods with preservatives and additives, which change the body chemistry and make it more difficult to lose weight. Have fun eating this new, tasty diet, and watch the weight disappear!
