Home mortgage rates have dropped again. In fact, you can find many refinance rates in the %4 or low %5. You may feel overwhelmed when approaching the refinance mortgage lenders. However with these simple easy steps, your mortgage loan will be a breeze.

Things You'll Need:

  • Steady job for 2 year or
  • Job in the same field for 2 years.
  • Pay stubs for last 30 days
  1. Step 1

    You should pick 5 to 10 lenders that you would like to refinance your home mortgage loans. Ask the lenders, what is their current rate. What are their typical closing costs. (Often a percentage of the loan) Be sure to ask the lender doing your refinance mortgage if they have an origination or application fees. And finally ask them how quickly will they close the mortgage loan.

  2. Step 2

    After gather all this information, choose the mortgage lender that has the lowest overall fees in combination with the lowest rate. Sometimes refinance mortgage lenders that have a higher rate, have less fees and your payment is actually smaller.

  3. Step 3

    Tell the mortgage lender that you chose to do your refinance loan, that you would like to apply. This is often a very simple one page application. Many times they can do it over the phone.

  4. Step 4

    The Home Refinance Mortgage Lenders will ask for some supporting documentation. Usually 30 days worth of pay stubs, last years w-2's and will request a work verification.

  5. Step 5

    At this point, the lender will do the rest. The mortgage lenders will call you when they need something. The process may feel overwhelming, but if you put your confidence in the mortgage lenders, the task will be simple and no stress.
