Step 1
Make use of kitchen organizers. Organize boxes of aluminum foil, plastic wrap and plastic sandwich bags in specialized racks that fasten onto the back of the pantry door.
-
Step 2
Put napkins in a napkin holder on the kitchen table, or store them in a basket on a kitchen shelf or on top of the refrigerator.
-
Step 3
Stack kitchen towels on a shelf, or in a basket on top of the refrigerator.
-
Step 4
Put cooking utensils an a crockery pot next to the stove. Keep silverware in smaller crockery pots, or in vintage ceramic flower pots, on the counter or even on the table. This looks especially trendy if the silverware is an eclectic mix that does not match.
-
Step 5
Mount a magnetic strip on the wall above the countertop to hold your knives.
-
Step 6
Mount a wire rack or peg board with hooks on a bare wall and hang kitchen utensils, such as stainless steel spoons, ladles, measuring spoons and wire whisks.
-
Step 7
Use drawer organizers to categorize what is left after you have moved everything possible from the drawers.
