Step 1
Scrape what you can off of the glue with your fingernail. Even if you can only scratch off the top layer of the glue, it is alright.

Mix a tablespoon of liquid dish washing detergent with two cups of water. Make sure the soap has thoroughly mixed in with the water.

Dip a clean rag into the mixture and apply it onto the fabric glue stain. Continue blotting the glue spot until the liquid has been absorbed by the clothing.

Step 4
Repeat the dabbing process three or four more times to see if the fabric glue comes off completely.

Step 5
Add a prewash stain remover onto the glue spot if there is still glue residue on the clothing.

Step 6
Throw the clothing into the wash and turn the water temperature to as high as the fabric is allowed to take. The heat is going to remove the remainder of the fabric glue stain from the clothing.
